Since the start of our company in 1994 it has always been our passion to produce new homes, renovated properties and barn conversions to the highest standards, well built with traditional styling (often using reclaimed building materials) yet encompassing all the latest design and building methods whilst still retaining that individual look.
We also apply this concept to all our bespoke-build projects, with the client providing the land and ideas we can turn their design into reality and build the property of their dreams. We are pleased to be associated with a local well respected architectural
practice, David Granger from David Granger Architectural Design Ltd who can assist with design ideas and transfer your ideas into production drawings and plans ready for Lychgate Homes Ltd to start the building process.
Your input is valued and respected and our managing director Dan Sturgess is always on hand to provide his many years of experience and knowledge in the building trade, to guide your project through to fruition in the shortest possible time.


We are currently awaiting planning permission on several sites.


Kilwardby House

We’re pleased to announce another restoration project on one of Ashby’s well known and prestigious buildings, Kilwardby House; formerly the offices for Fishers Solicitors on Kilwardby Street.

A sympathetic conversion of this historic property into six luxury, 2 bedroom apartments and one triplex dwelling, while restoring original and beautiful features such as the elegant staircase, bay windows and fireplaces.
